Flour Shower

I’ve blogged about my love for cooking before, and because of my love for cooking, my parents got me a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for my birthday this year. Now, I’m not an eager baker but after some exploring there are a ton of other things you can do with this monster of a kitchen gadget. I’ve heard that among other things the ice cream attachment is amazing! Anyways, we had some bananas that were starting to go bad and I have an amazing banana bread recipe given to me from a co-worker so we broke out this beast of a mixer. As soon as I turned it on Roman was curious so I brought him up on the island to help out. He added all the ingredients. Next was turning it on to begin the mixing process, and in all of his excitement he turned it on high and all the flour went flying out! It was sooo classic. Like something out of I Love Lucy.

I have to say though that I LOVE this mixer and might start making breads even though I don’t really care for bread. I think I’ll be baking a lot this winter….anyone want some bread? 🙂
