Anyone that knows me well, knows that I love Disney movies. Always have, always will. I don’t have many if any scary movies, a couple of thrillers, and a ton of romantic comedies. The reason is that scary or suspenseful movies make me anxious. Not anxious like cant breath and I need a paper bag anxious, but anxious where I have to look away from the TV. The same goes for crank call shows, and Seinfeld. Yeah, I know I’m weird, but watching people deal with uncomfortable situations makes me uncomfortable. Maybe I’m too empathetic; I mean I know its a TV show or a movie, and its all scripted, but it drives me up the wall.
My favorite Disney movie is Sword in the Stone. Roman has currently taken liking to it which is just fine to me. I used to watch this movie all the time. It’s almost therapeutic in a way. When I lived in Idaho I would watch it when I was homesick, or if I’m having a rough day, I’ll watch it to help me zone out and fall asleep. I’m not sure if anyone else is like this with movies, but for me it’s comforting.
Who knew movies could tell so much about who you are as a person?! What’s in your movie cabinet?

My girls can’t get enough of Cinderella III at the moment. Something about Disney movies; they have a gret allure about them.. I have always been a fan of Anime and the way the characters are drawn both proportion and dynamics in motion…. but my kids won’t have any of that business……
If possible I would still punch Spongebob in his little square head.

I wonder why girls hang on to it more then boys? Cuz its not manly enough. 🙂 Anime isnt inocent fantasy…its more life like. That would be my reason anyway, if I was 5. Hehe. And I totally agree with you on Spongebob….cant stand one second of it. Ugh.
