Remember when I told you I had a surprise waiting for me when I got home Saturday? Well this is it!!!! I was going to take a basic photography class this semester and needed a film camera. It just so happens that Sal’s dad had this baby lying around. Even though I’m not going to be able to take the class this semester, I still plan on learning how to use it. All I need to do is buy some film, read the instruction manual, and make mistakes! 🙂
I guess I am kind of going about this backwards, but times are a changin! Wish me luck!

Very cool surprise! I still have my old film camera (Canon AE1-P) hanging about somewhere…I should dig it up eh? Can’t wait to see the scanned photos.

I wouldn’t say you’re going backwards…may be say “going for the basics”. Surly, you’ll miss looking at the lcd panel after each shots but you’ll learn from your mistakes when you get the film developed.
Good luck!

I guess it doesnt matter how you get there! I havent looked at thing in forever, except for after the picture to see how it turned out. That will probably be the hardest thing, since Im so used to instant gratification.
