Monkey #2

What a day. I am beat. So is he…

I worked as usual, and hard. My boss will be happy to read that :D.  After Sal got home I ran to Jake’s office to pick up a flash to use for a special little girls 1st birthday.  He’s also selling it. So if I can figure it out… :).  He showed me a ton about all things photography and you can hear the excitement in his voice as he was explaining it to me.  We talked about Lightroom and Photoshop, sRGB vs Adobe RGB, custom white balance, flash’s, resizing, storing, etc. Learned a ton in about an hour. Best class I’ve ever had. Pretty impressive for not really being a class. I’m pretty sure he does it because he loves it. Ahhh…if we could all be so lucky. I also finished homework. Yuck. But it’s all good.

Ahhh time to watch some t.v. and relax. Here is the before picture taken with the flash :).

Ahhhh…..such soft light in a completely dark room.

He is soooo beautiful. I, to, am glad you finally found a monkey. Roman without a monkey is just somehow sad. Have you counted all the monkey that were bought that didn’t “cut the muster”?

Cute indeed. Looks very peaceful and I am ready for a nap already – it’s just 7:00 AM now 😉

What a little sweetheart – they’re so precious when they’re sleeping!! Someday I will have to get a real flash… I’m adding that to my list! I saw sRGB and Adobe RGB on my camera’s settings the other day, and wondered what that was all albout… I forgot to look that up! I’m thinking about joining a local photography club, so maybe they can help me figure all that out!

Very nice. You are lucky to have someone who is willing to teach and share with you.
What a sweetie with her monkey.

What an adorable sweet face. Lovely capture. This took me down the memory lane of when my boys were little. I used to just sit and stare at them sleeping. The peaceful sweetness…

I like the contrast of the peaceful, sleeping face agaist the wide-awake, crazed monkey. So cute!

What did he tell you about the difference between sRGB vs Adobe RGB? I just noticed both options in my camera.

Roman looks so peaceful sleeping, I have always loved shots of my kids sleeping! That monkey looks pretty rockin too! It’s great having someone to discuss photo related subjects, especially when you learn new things! 😀

They’re like little Angels when they are asleep. The monkey is actually a replacement for the original monkey. After some time of mourning, he finally took the other one. Im so thankful that he’s so willing to teach. So many people are protective of what they know, but if someone really wants to learn they will whether or not someone teaches them!

    Love reading all your updates!

Wish I had the time to keep up with my blog 😦 But every time I try and stay active, my Facebook activity drops. And Facebook is where I get the majority of my clients from. So it’s kind of a no-brainer. Thanks for sharing!
